FAQs

Modular Construction

What is modular construction and how does it differ from traditional building methods?

Modular construction is a process where buildings are manufactured in sections (modules) within a controlled factory environment. This method allows site preparation (like foundations) to happen simultaneously while the modules are being built. Compared to traditional construction, modular projects are typically faster and more efficient. Offsite fabrication ensures high quality and precision, with less waste and fewer weather delays. Once the modules are delivered to your site, they are assembled quickly, minimizing disruption to your operations.

Hire & Delivery

What are the typical hire terms and minimum rental period?

Our rental terms are designed to be flexible. There is generally no strict minimum rental period for standard units – you can rent for just a few weeks or for many months, depending on your requirements. We will discuss the expected duration with you and set up a contract that fits your timeline. If you need to extend your rental, just let us know and we can adjust the term accordingly. All terms, including pricing and notice for off-hire, will be clearly outlined in advance.

Product Features

Are the modular units stackable or expandable if we need more space?

Yes. Many of our modular units are designed to be connected or stacked to create larger complexes. We can join multiple modules side by side to expand the floor area, or stack modules in multiple levels (two-story or three-story configurations, depending on the design) to maximize vertical space. The modular system works like building blocks, giving you flexibility to increase your space if your needs grow. Even if you start with a single-unit structure, additional modules can often be added later with minimal disruption.

Site Requirements

What access or space is needed for delivery and installation?

We will need clear access to your site for our delivery vehicles and installation equipment. Typically, the site entrance should be wide and high enough to accommodate a large truck carrying the modules. The area where the building will be placed should be clear of obstacles, with solid, level ground to support a crane or forklift if one is used. We also recommend having some space around the setup area to maneuver the modules into position safely. Before delivery, our team can assess your location and advise if any special arrangements are needed for a smooth installation.

Ordering Process

How long does it take from order to installation of a modular building?

The timeline from order to installation can vary with the scope of the project. A small standard unit might be delivered and installed in just a few weeks. In fact, if we have a suitable unit in stock, it could even be a matter of days. Larger, fully customized modular buildings will take longer – often a few months from design approval through to final installation. When we provide your quote, we’ll also give you an estimated delivery timeframe. We strive to meet every agreed schedule and will keep you updated at each stage of the project.
